Owned by renowned restaurateur Claudio Pulze and named after the Italian region of Lazio, Latium has earned a reputation as one of the finest independent Italian restaurants in London. Indeed, Head Chef Stefano Motta (previously at Del Mercato in Vinopolis, London and Restaurant SD26, New York) has developed a wholly magnificent menu.

The pick of his pastas are probably the Tagliolini with Cornish Crab Meat and Purple Aubergine Cream, plus perhaps the Sea Bass Ravioli, with Butter, Chives and Tuna Roe Bottarga. Meanwhile, standout meat courses include the Barolo Braised Beef Cheek, Baked Semolina ‘Gnocchi Alla Romana’ and Black Cabbage, along with the Roasted Saddle of Venison, Leeks, Mixed Mushrooms, Pumpkin Cream and Juniper Berries Jus.

Tempting dessert options combine Lemon Caprese with Limoncello Cream and Raspberry Sorbet, as well as Dark Chocolate Moelleux with Ratafia Crème Anglais and Almond Ice Cream.
