Consistently delivering on food and service, Orrery has been a firm favourite with Marylebone locals since it opened here in 1996.
In those days it was part of the Conran empire. Today, it is privately owned and run on a day-to-day basis by talented Chef Patron Igor Tymchyshyn and General Manager Ismael Nuha.
The pair share a passion for hospitality and their attention to detail is apparent, from the creative seasonal dishes to the smart table settings and even the general décor. They understand diners’ needs, remember regulars’ names and have successfully cultivated long-lasting relationships with their customers, as well as with the wider community.
And Orrery does have a good connection with the community. The restaurant was one of the first businesses to join the Marylebone Association, it works closely with the local church and it takes part in neighbourhood events such as the Marylebone Summer Fayre. Orrery even supports the homeless with free meals!
It’s not unreasonable, then, that good things should happen to the team at Orrery. And they do. So far in 2016, the restaurant has received 3 Rosettes and won the Test of Time award at the 14th annual Tatler Restaurant Awards.
