The founder of Kay & Co, Sam has grown a business that is recognised as one of the leading players in the Central London market. At the heart of this growth: honesty, integrity and a remarkable network of contacts. Today Sam heads up the company’s international property desk advising private Middle Eastern clients on the sale and acquisition of residential property and investment opportunities. He has been a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents since 1991, is a member of the Association of Residential Lettings Agents and is actively involved with various charitable organisations.
Martin joined his father at Kay & Co in 1997 and became Managing Director in 2008. He runs the Hyde Park and Bayswater office and is responsible for the company’s residential investment and development division. Martin regularly advises high profile companies including British Land and The Howard de Walden Estate on their residential property interests. His passion for central London living makes him a regularly quoted expert in the national press. He is a former secretary of the central London branch of the National Association of Estate Agents and is a member of the Association of Residential Letting Agents. He has responsibility for the day-to-day running of the business, is an active part of Kay & Co's sales team and is responsible for the company's residential development and investment clients.
Paul brings a wealth of experience to Kay & Co, having worked in a variety of prestigious estate agencies, both corporate and independent. In 2000, he joined us to run the Marylebone & Regent’s Park office and became a Director in 2002. Paul is a high profile and popular figure in the industry and has an unswervingly loyal client base. He is a member of the National Association of Estate Agents and Association of Residential Lettings Agents.
Joe Le Beau
Joe joined Kay & Co in 2011 as a Sales Negotiator and was promoted to Sales Manager of our Hyde Park & Bayswater branch in June 2015. He is a Member of The National Association of Estate Agents and has over 10 years’ experience in residential property, both in the UK and the UAE. Joe’s pragmatic approach and intricate knowledge of the W2 postcode allow him to expertly advise our clients on their Prime Central London property affairs. Prior to joining Kay & Co, Joe was based in Dubai, selling the most exclusive apartments at the world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa.
Graduating from Leeds Metropolitan University in 2011 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations, Charlotte joined Kay & Co in 2013. Prior to that she spent a year working for 37 Degrees, a health provider in the ‘More London’ Campus where she was able to develop her skills in engaging with new clients and bringing in additional business. As a sales negotiator based at out Hyde Park offices, her engaging personality and charm is key to building relationships with past, present and future customers. Having excelled at both football and cricket as a child, her prowess led to a talent scout inviting her to play football for the Arsenal under 15 girls team. Nowadays, the only pitches she prefers are those that relate to business!
In 2006 Sarah left university with a BA Hons degree in Film, Radio & Television with Media Studies. She started her career in television production, working her way up to an Assistant Art Director. At the start of 2013 she decided she wanted to try something new, so joined the family business as a Lettings Negotiator. Although she was new to the property field, it clearly runs in her blood. With a friendly and personable approach, she is able to listen to what a client needs and find them their ideal property. Her dedication and professionalism in the department means she was promoted to Senior Lettings Negotiator at the end of 2015 and Lettings Manager in the summer of 2016.
After spending a summer on work experience as part of our graduate programme, Jack joined Kay & Co full time in May 2014. Previously a student studying Business Management, Accountancy and Finance in Manchester, he is only one of three from his course to immediately find full time employment. As a Lettings Negotiator based at our Marylebone office, Jack enjoys meeting new people and getting out and about in this vibrant part of London. A fan of the TV series Grand Designs, he has always been fascinated by property and interiors and can see the potential that they bring to customers seeking a new home.
Born and bred in Surrey, Zack is a serious achiever. Having been City based for a couple of years, working out of Canary Wharf, his talents took him as far as Kuala Lumpur to co-host a series of property seminars and showcase his firms lettings and management services. Away from work, Zack is a keen gym user, where his studying of P.E. Sport and Science can be put to good use. He joined Kay & Co as one our Letting Negotiator team and his fitness means he will always go the extra mile for our clients!
A graduate in English from nearby Westminster University, Nicola arrived at Kay & Co in 2009 with experience in administration, event organisation and estate agency. As Lettings Manager she leads in the day-to-day running of the lettings department. This includes carrying out valuations, taking on new properties and supporting the team to make letting a seamless process for landlords and tenants.
Originally from South Africa, Jenny developed her property management skills in the vibrant city of Cape Town where she worked on retail, commercial and residential properties. Seeking a new adventure, she moved to London and added a further seven years of experience before joining Kay & Co in April 2013. Jenny is the friendly and helpful voice residents hear when they call from the broad range of managed properties in Kay & Co’s portfolio. She cares passionately about customer service and will always go the extra mile to ensure every request, no matter how large or small, is swiftly dealt with. This mainly takes place via e-mails and phone calls but when she needs to be at a property to solve a problem – no matter how serious or trivial - she’s out of the door and on her way quicker than you can say ‘Wonder Woman’!
Caesar brings many years of experience in property management. His career began with a firm of Chartered Surveyors before joining an estate agency chain that saw him working in a variety of locations across London, including Canary Wharf. He joined the Kay & Co team in February, 2015. Caesar enjoys the challenge of mixing residential with block management and his engaging personality quickly builds a rapport with his clients. ‘Gaining their trust is absolutely key’ he says, adding ‘I like being part of a small team and knowing we can make an immediate difference’. He has lived in London all his life and is a keen badminton player and swimmer. His surname reflects an exotic heritage that has its origins from the beautiful Portuguese colony of Goa.
Asim trained with a firm of Chartered Accountants and Registered Auditors in West End of London where he obtained invaluable experience in all aspects of accounting, taxation and auditing. The clients he directly managed ranged from start-up businesses to small and medium sized enterprises including multi-national corporations. He qualified in 2006 as a Chartered Certified Accountant and continued working for the same firm of Accountants until becoming a member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
Following his passion for real estate he joined Kay & Co in 2013 as an in-house Client Accountant. He is responsible to oversee all aspects of Asset Management and Lettings accounting and contribute to business development. His strong reporting skills and rigorously ensuring that all statutory and corporate obligations are met is a backbone to our successful management services. His calm and focused approach to solving complex accounting irregularities is an invaluable skill for our clients. His strategic approach to enable clients make a smooth financial transition from their previous agents to Kay & Co is exemplary.
Asim was born in Middle-East, raised in Asia and spent his teenage years in Central Africa. He has travelled and lived in a number of countries learning about cultures and making new friends. He is in true meaning a global citizen.
A student of Business and Marketing at Thames Valley University, Zensi graduated in 2001. Having worked part time for the Next fashion store while at college, she continued in retail, working her way through the ranks to become the shop floor manager of the Croydon branch. This retail experience was the perfect training ground for developing customer relationship skills and after seeking a fresh challenge, she joined a large firm of estate agents covering south east London in 2006. Zensi is the friendly face that greets visitors to our Marylebone offices and having joined us in 2013, her marketing qualifications are put to good use with the production of a broad range of material to promote the lettings and sales properties on our books.
As a member of an Association of chartered certified accountants (ACCA), Certified accounting technician (CAT) and BSC (Hons) in applied accounting from Oxford Brookes University, Shafait brought his impressive skills to Kay & Co in 2011. His climb from Financial Controller to Finance & Operations director has been swift and highlights the passion and attention to detail he brings to the role. Not only he is the Head of Finance, but he also oversees our Block Management, Lettings, Client Services and Admin teams with HR completing his portfolio of responsibilities. His calm demeanour, ever-present smile and a sparkling sense of humour makes him a popular member of the team and a valued member of the board.
