The Howard De Walden Estate

The Howard de Walden Estate in the West End of London comprises approximately 90 acres, bordered by Wigmore Street to the south, Marylebone Road to the north, Marylebone High Street to the West and Hallam Street to the East.

There are approximately 700 flats let by the Estate on a rental basis within the Estate’s portfolio of 850 buildings which are home to a harmonious blend of residential accommodation, shops, offices, medical buildings, schools and other uses.

As a private, family owned organisation, the uniqueness of the Estate remains paramount and Marylebone Village continues to evolve with a view to the future whilst maintaining the history of the past.

You do not have to spend a long time on Marylebone High Street to see why it was voted ‘London’s Favourite Street’ in a nationwide survey conducted for Radio 4  by CABE or how it won the Great Street award from the Academy of Urbanism in 2006.

Whether it is eating in, eating out, shopping for clothes, shopping for the home or even improving your cooking skills, Marylebone Village has something for everyone.  It has an unparalleled mix of stylish, fashionable shops and award winning restaurants all within the heart of central London.
