Delectable spices, succulent sauces, magnificent meats and versatile veggies – who knew that a taco bar could be so irresistibly delicious? The inner workings of the corn-crafted bread, which has become a staple of Mexican cuisine, is truly wonderful, and this is exactly the kind of party-on-your-plate feel that Molé is bringing to Londoners this August.
Molé tacos are made from Masa, a type of corn flour, prepared on site by expert chefs. They’re also 80% gluten free. They’re filled with imaginative “visual treats” - from cod cheeks, squid ink, and micro leaf to slow-cooked pork belly with pickled watermelon and sweet miso to a full-on selection of ceviches. The Molé taco is redefined as an art form!
And for those craving a different kind of taste, other dishes include braised oxtail with crema, shaved lettuce and red amaranth, octopus with Pico de Gallo, popcorn shoot and serrano chilli, and a 16-hour braised Chipotle beef short rib, just to name a few.
Take note, cocktail connoisseurs: the clue is in the name. Molé will also be bringing a fabulous drink selection to the table as well as other token dishes from Central and South America. Grab a Guava Pisco Sour cocktail to round off the palate (or choose from a list of several others), sit back, relax, and enjoy the ambience of this charming medium-size restaurant which is diversifying Marylebone’s foodscape.
