Jingle all the way to Kay & Co’s Hyde Park office on Thursday, November 23, when Santa makes his ho-ho-home there. From 3.30pm to 6.30pm, Father Christmas will be in his glittering grotto with presents for all the girls and boys.
His visit coincides with the Connaught Village Christmas Shopping Evening which runs from 3pm to 8pm. Many of the shops are offering up to 20% discounts for the duration of the festive event, and several are also running masterclasses or tasting sessions.
The Christmas lights will be switched on and carol singers will serenade shoppers, diners, promenaders and browsers.
Connaught Village is a triangle of streets just north of Hyde Park and west of Marble Arch. It has attracted discerning retailers whose boutiques, beauty parlours and chic eateries add an air of sophistication beyond Oxford Street.
This is the ideal opportunity to explore what’s on offer here, which includes Jimmy Choo’s niece, Lucy Choi who is following in her uncle’s footsteps with her own shoe boutique. There’s also Kokoro, a high-end fashion emporium, and Elizabeth Jane Howell, who sells breathtaking beaded gowns. The Dresser stocks pre-owned designer labels, while Viola specialises in sartorial fashion accessories. You will also find art, design objects and antiques.
Santa will be ready to entertain your children at Kay & Co’s Hyde Park office at 24-25 Albion Street, London, W2 2AX.
